Giuseppe Cortese is a purely tradionalist winery that ferments in old concrete vats with indigenous yeasts and has been farming the land for generations. Everything about this wine involves time. 70+ year old vines from the heart of one of the greatest crus of Barbaresco, Rabaja and 40 months of aging in 40 year old barrels plus 3 years bottle ageing. Only made in the best vintages. Very limited production.
